Hard reset litter-robot 3

I did a hard reset multiple times. I had to turn the globe to get the litter that waa in the resorvoir out abd remove it all and then after a few more hard resets with it being empty I was able to get the yellow flashing light to stop. It has happened a few times now. Ive had my LR3 for 3 years and this is a new problem.
