The High Line's current northern terminus is on 30th Street west of 10th Avenue. The southern portion of the park, between Gansevoort and 20th Streets, opened on June 9, 2009, with a second section opening in June 2011.

The High Line runs from Gansevoort Street, through Chelsea to the northern edge of West Side Yard on 34th Street. Due to its length, there are a number of access points.
