John deere 318 no spark

Just prior, I had done a complete tune-up, new fluids, etc - the whole works. It started right up, ran for 15 minutes and quit. No spark to the plugs! Following the service manual tests, the coil must be bad.

Since the machine stopped mowing first, then wouldn't start, that switch may be the culprit. Also, sparks at the battery mean a bad connection there or a dead short! Crank engine for 15 seconds with plug wires off and old plugs. Removed plugs and the right one is bone dry. 15. Put small amount of fuel down carb throat and engine only backfires into carb and will not start. 16.Was givin this John deere f525, was told it had no spark. Im starting to figure out why it was free. I have replaced coil,ignitor spark plug. All fuses are good.. All saftey switches are jumpered. Still no spark. Engine cranks fine. This is where it gets weird, I can pull all 4 fuses, and both relays and the darn thing will still crank.

None of those readings are enough out of nominal to be concerned about...
