It won’t disappoint. It’s an epic piece of kit. A 226 would be more comparable to a Glock 17 being that the 226 is a duty size gun, and the 19 would be more comparable to the 229/228 compact (ish) size. It comes down to whether you want a hammer gun or a striker gun though, cause they are both rock solid pistols.The P229 is smaller than the P226 yet still larger than the G19.
